Resins and prepregs that cure under ultra-violet exposure are used for production of composite parts.
Parts may be layed-up from prepregs or dry fabric. In the second case, impregnation is performed by vacuum infusion or RTM. Then tooling with the part is exposed to UV-light until full cure.
In order for cure to take place material of tooling should be transparent for UV-light.

Manufacturing of rudder carcass
Rudder carcass is manufactured from a stack of TFP preforms. Preforms are places into UV-transparent tooling and impregnated with resin by vacuum infusion. Then the part is cured in UV-curing machine.
